GREELEY, Colo.—A Greeley woman will serve a year of probation for egging on a fight among girls at a city park that led to an attack on a jogger.
Police say someone involved in the fight in August posted a video of it on YouTube. That led to the arrest of five juvenile girls and two adults, including 22-year-old Chantel Gallegos.
The Tribune reports that Gallegos pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of engaging in a riot and disorderly conduct. She was also sentenced Tuesday to 60 hours of community service.
A female jogger says she was attacked by one of the girls when she told them to stop fighting and tried to call police. Police say Gallegos was identified as the person who urged the attack.
