Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in an Edgewater apartment late Sunday.
Maintenance workers were checking on a possible broken water pipe at 2608 Kendall St. when they found the body and called 911.
The Jefferson County coroner’s office has determined that the cause of death was homicide. The Edgewater Police Department is not releasing the name of the victim pending notification of relatives.
