CENTENNIAL, Colo.—A grand jury is going to investigate the death of a University of Colorado student who was shot and killed as he walked home from a light rail station in Centennial.

Arpahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Friday that the county grand jury will investigate the November 2009 death of 23-year-old Andrew Graham. Denver’s KCNC-TV first reported that a grand jury would get the case.

Graham’s body was found in a yard. His money and wallet were found, and his satchel was found nearly three blocks away with its contents undisturbed.

Court documents obtained by KUSA-TV say an alleged gang member said someone she was with that night shot Graham.

Robinson declined to comment on the allegation.
