DENVER—The regional sports network Altitude Sports & Entertainment has acquired a 50 percent interest in WFN: World Fishing Network USA, an around-the-clock fishing network.
Altitude is the network created by Stan Kroenke, whose family’s sports holdings include the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and St. Louis Rams.
The deal includes consolidating WFN’s U.S. operations in the Denver area. WFN’s Canadian operations will remain headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
