A man was in the hospital Sunday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of West 9th Avenue and Decatur Street about 2:20 a.m.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said two brothers were parked at a housing project near that intersection when one of the men left the car, only to run back shortly afterward with gunshot wounds.
Jackson said the car then crashed at West 9th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, at which time the injured man was taken to an area hospital. Neither man’s name has been released.
