Thanks to some clarifications in the rules and regulations within the city and county of Denver, the owners of so-called cupcake trucks should be out on Denver’s roads sometime next week, 9News reported.
“We’re going out again,” said Denon Moore, co-owner of Park Hill’s Cake Crumbs Bakery. “Word is it’ll be Tuesday.”
Earlier this month, Moore decided to keep her trucks in a garage rather than subject her employees to harassment from city inspectors. Denver City Council members said they heard from a number of mobile food vendors on the issue. Council member Carla Madison will now head a group looking into working with the industry locally on permanent solutions.
