The Fort Lewis men’s basketball team is atop this week’s NCAA Division II Central Region rankings, which are used to determine seedings for the national tournament, and the Skyhawks women are No. 2.
Minnesota State is No. 2 behind the Skyhawks men, followed by Metro State, Colorado Mines and Adams State. Mesa State is No. 7.
The Fort Lewis women trail Wayne (Neb.) State, and Metro State is third. All three teams have only one loss. Colorado Christian is No. 4, Mesa State is No. 8 and Colorado State-Pueblo is 10th.
