Four Colorado natives will travel to Washington, D.C., this spring to participate in the White House Internship Program.
More than 1,000 college students from across the country were selected for the semester-long program, according to a news release from the White House.
Denver natives Alyssa Roberts, Benjamin Kapnik and Brian DeSplinter will participate in the program, as well as Aaron Hildreth of Longmont.
Interns work full-time for several White House departments including the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Presidential Personnel Office, the Office of the Vice President and the Office of the First Lady.
