NEW YORK — Blockbuster Inc. lacks funds to pay its bills and should liquidate, creditor Summit Distribution LLC said, citing the movie-rental chain’s failure to pay it $1.6 million for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
Summit, an independent production and distribution studio, said Thursday it wants Blockbuster to convert to a Chapter 7 liquidation from a Chapter 11 reorganization.
