DENVER—Gov. John Hickenlooper says he’s continuing his work looking for ways to cut red tape in state government—but he’s not ready to share any details about how he’ll do it.

The Democratic governor was at the University of Denver Friday meeting with local business owners for ideas on economic development. It was the last of his public meetings on what Hickenlooper calls “Bottom-Up Economic Development.”

The governor says he’ll have more details by the end of May about how government can streamline regulation. He told reporters that he’s not yet ready to back any legislation to achieve that end.
