BOULDER — City officials will be removing five emergency phone stations from University Hill because over the past two years the devices have only been used to make prank calls to police, the Daily Camera reports.
In 2009 and 2010, police received 351 phone calls from the emergency phones, all of which were false, according to a memo sent Friday to City Council members from City Manager Jane Brautigam.
