A 19-year-old Colorado State University student was rushed to the hospital and died Friday just before 2 p.m.
Eric Spry of Edwards was rushed from his dormitory room at Braiden Hall to the hospital where he later died, Brad Bohlander, a spokesman for the university, said Saturday.
The cause of death remains unclear pending test results, said Diane Fairman, chief deputy coroner for Larimer County.
“We have indications that it looks like natural causes, possibly pneumonia,” Fairman said. “It does not look like meningitis.”
Spry was a sophomore studying Health and Exercise Science, Bohlander said.
