TRENTON, Ky. — Police say a 9-year-old girl who was found dead in western Kentucky a few hours after she was reported missing was killed by multiple blows.
A State Police news release says an autopsy ruled that the cause of death was blunt-force trauma and the investigation is continuing. Authorities identified the girl as Amy R. Dye.
