The mother of two children who were wandering alone Friday afternoon in Thornton has been arrested.
Calean Nicol Hickey, 33, was arrested Friday night on suspicion of misdemeanor child abuse and neglect, according to a release from Thornton police.
At 3:45 p.m. Friday, police were called to an apartment complex where a 4-year- old boy and a 2-year-old girl were wandering from door to door. The children were not dressed for the weather, and the girl was not wearing a shirt.
