A body found under a bridge east of Lochbuie on Friday morning was identified today as 23-year-old Adrian Tavera-Avalos of Henderson, the Weld County Sheriff’s Department said today.
His family contacted authorities after the Sheriff’s department released a detailed description, including tattoos, over the weekend.
Fingerprints confirmed his identity, the Sheriff’s department said today.
Avalos died of a blow to the head and was wearing only his boxer shorts, the Sheriff’s department said. The body had been under the bridge over an irrigation ditch for several days, according to the Sheriff’s department.
