A Park County man convicted of abusing more than 100 dogs at his kennel in 2009 has received the maximum penalty.
Sam Walker was sentenced Monday in Fairplay to 90 days in jail, as well as two years’ probation and 48 hours of community service.
Walker pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, admitting he failed to feed and care for more than 100 huskies.
