One of the nice things about Valentine’s Day is that the good times are encouraged for all.

Even though the holiday is targeted at moony couples — especially the ones who have just started dating — there are still plenty of ways to get out there and revel in V-Day’s cheesy goodness.

No couple wants to think of their single friends sitting home alone, wallowing among candy wrappers and cans of cheap beer. And the single pals don’t want their coupled-up counterparts to have all the fun.

Married or happily single, longtime lovers or “it’s complicated,” get out there and take advantage of the love in the air this weekend.

Extend a helping hand to Denver’s homeless — and stay comfy while doing so — at the first-ever PJ Crawl tonight.

Benefiting Denver’s Road Home, the city’s campaign to end homelessness, participants can pick a neighborhood to wander in their nighttime snugglies. (Or in regular street clothes; pajamas are optional.)

Proceeds from the $20 tickets go to Denver’s Road Home and get crawlers special treats as they eat, drink and shop their way along the route. Choose your own adventure through Cherry Creek North, the Golden Triangle or the Highland neighborhood.

Register for your neighborhood crawl at , or sign up at the crawl’s starting locations: Three Dogs Tavern (3390 W. 32nd Ave.) in Highland, Rooster and Moon (955 Bannock St.) in the Triangle and Second Home at the J.W. Marriott (150 Clayton Lane) for Cherry Creek North. Crawling starts at 6 tonight.

Single and annoyed? Join the club at Slacker and Steve’s Bitter Ball on Saturday, an event tailor-made for people ready to embrace their Valentine’s singlehood.

Presented by radio station Alice 105.9 at Casselman’s (2620 Walnut St.), the party aims to gather 50 percent girls and 50 percent guys for an evening of single-person revelry.

Just because it’s “bitter” doesn’t mean romance will be absent: Relive the days of junior-high crushes with a board full of love notes, a “seven seconds in heaven” booth and a giant game of Spin the Bottle. This is no junior-high party, though, as there will be plenty of drinks and dancing.

Tickets to the Bitter Ball are $15 at . Doors are open at 8 p.m. Saturday.

As usual, the Lotus Clubs gang is in the holiday spirit, this time with two colorful parties tonight: “Black and White” at 5 Degrees (1475 Larimer St.) and “Little Red Dress” at Suite Two Hundred (1427 Larimer St.).

“Black and White” starts with a two-hour social hour, featuring two-for-one cocktails, beer and wine and $5 glasses of champagne. Once everyone’s nice and tipsy, it’s time for a launch party for Melodi Marketing with $7 “Heartbreaker” cocktails and sounds by DJs Manos and Shua.

Ladies are invited to get dolled up in their cutest outfits for the “Little Red Dress” party. Wearers of little red dresses can enter a contest to win prizes, including concert tickets and swag.

The main event, though, is a performance from DEV, the female voice behind “Like a G6” by L.A. hip-hop/electro crew Far East Movement. She’ll be rocking that tune along with her own track, “Base Down Low.”

There’s no cover for either party, but arrive early or dress for a wait outside.

Finally, dance away all the V-Day pressure with DJ Martin Roth at Beta (1909 Blake St.) on Saturday.

Known for his self-created “NuStyle” approach to electronic music, Roth spins minimalist takes on trance, tech-house, electro and more.

Advance tickets to Saturday’s show are $10 at .
