Seven-time Grammy Award winner Gladys Knight will headline the 25th anniversary High Hopes Carousel Ball, a benefit for the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
It’s on Oct. 1 at the Marriott City Center, and will honor Dr. Georgeanna Klingensmith, the Barbara Davis Center’s director of clinics, and community leaders Charlie and Judy McNeil.
Judy McNeil is a past chair of the center’s other major fundraiser, the Brass Ring Luncheon, and in January was installed as president of The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation at Denver.
