Got your bump legs yet this season? You can put them to the test Feb. 25-26 at the 12th annual Jane-A-Thon fundraiser at Mary Jane. The goals of the pledge-based event, which benefits the Colorado-based Invest in Kids organization, is to hit all 16 of Mary Jane’s legendary bump runs. Or see how many vertical feet you can get in for the day.
Friday is a corporate day for four-person teams, and Saturday is open to individuals and families. Each day, prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories, including most money raised, most vertical feet and fastest speed. Prizes vary but include skis, cat-skiing trips and tickets to Denver sports events.
Entry fee is $30 and a commitment of at least $100 in pledges per person. Lift tickets are included, and there is an après-ski party each afternoon. Pledges can be made on a per-run basis (collected after the event) or a flat amount (collected before or after the event). Corporate sponsorships are available.
