Forget Carrie Bradshaw. Helen Gurley Brown, who edited Cosmopolitan magazine for 32 years, was way ahead of the “Sex and the City” generation when she published her pivotal book, “Sex and the Single Girl,” in 1962. She’ll be 89 on Friday. Cosmopolitans all around!
Cosmopolitan Cocktail
From Mr. Boston: Official Bartender’s Guide. Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
1 1/4 ounces vodka
1/4 ounce lime juice
1/4 ounce triple sec
1/4 ounce cranberry juice
Directions
Shake well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
