• Because of a reporter’s error, the number of unemployed people in Colorado was incorrect in a story Wednesday on Page 12A about cuts to the state education budget.
Roughly 8.8 percent of Colorado’s 5 million residents, or 440,000 people, are estimated to be unemployed.
