The Longhorns (23-3, 11-0), who have won 10 of their 11 league games by 10 or more points, hold a two-game lead over Kansas with five games left in the regular season.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Kemba Walker had 31 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, but it was his bank play — in which he threw the ball over 6-foot-10 defender Henry Sims off the backboard and grabbed the rebound and tossed it in from about 4 feet to make it 53-46 — that highlighted the Huskies’ victory.

“I haven’t seen the bank play in quite some time, as in never,” Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun said.

SALT LAKE CITY — The Cowboys (9-17, 2-10 MWC) pulled within 68-65 with 3:40 remaining on a Francisco Cruz 3-pointer, but the Utes (11-15, 4-8) responded with a 12-5 run.

NORMAN, Okla. — The Cornhuskers (17-8, 5-6) secured their first Big 12 road victory in nearly two years as Cade Davis’ potential game-tying 3-pointer with 3.7 seconds left was ruled a two-pointer after time had expired.

MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Wildcats (17-7, 7-4 Big 12) outscored the Buffaloes (12-12, 3-8) 20-4 in the final five minutes of the first half to take control.

TCU 61, Colorado State 53

FORT COLLINS — The Rams (12-12, 5-6 MWC) took a six- point lead into the break, but were outscored 40-26 by the Horned Frogs (18-8, 10-2) in the second half.

Denver 87, Louisiana-Monroe 63

Brianna Culberson scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds and the Pioneers (16-10, 8-5 Sun Belt) scored 58 points in the second half.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Megan Muniz hit a 3-pointer with 23.5 seconds left to give the Falcons (8-16, 3-8 MWC) the lead for good.
