The red-dress fashion show has become something of a fashion phenomenon in recent years, raising awareness of heart disease and money for the American Heart Association in many cities each February. A 5-7 p.m. event on Friday will offer a twist on the concept, as it’s being staged by University of Denver students. In addition to the show, there will be a DJ and silent art auction, along with live entertainment, hors d’ouevres and a cash bar. Erin K. Bleakley, a senior studying marketing, will show 40-plus looks, including red dresses, colorful print looks (above) and even some children’s wear. Also showing his collection on Friday will be Sam Vinson, whose screenprinted T-shirts, hoodies and hats for Atone Clothing Ltd.appeal to streetwise men and women. More: ;
