A grand jury in Arizona indicted former Sunflower Farmers Market chief executive Michael Gilliland on a charge of child prostitution, and he is scheduled to appear before a Maricopa County judge Tuesday, court records showed.

Gilliland, 52, will have a preliminary hearing in which charges are formally read to him and, if necessary, prosecutors would be required to present evidence to show that there’s enough to charge the part-time Phoenix resident with soliciting prostitution from a minor.

Gilliland was freed on $12,000 bond after he was arrested Feb. 10 during a sheriff’s department sting operation.
