Two people were taken to the hospital this morning after their truck crashed near Pagosa Springs.

At 8:30 a.m. a 2006 Chevrolet pick-up truck traveling on U.S. Highway 160 near Pagosa Springs slid off the icy road and rolled over, according to Trooper Nate Reid, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

The driver and a passenger were trapped inside the truck and had to be extricated.

Both were taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries, Reid said.

Their names have not been released.
