STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — A former Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. employee has been arrested on suspicion of sending the resort an e-mail implying there were explosives on a ski lift.
Routt County Sheriff Garrett Wiggins said Thursday that 25-year-old Patrick Steven Jackson of Tehachapi, Calif., confessed to sending the anonymous e-mail Jan. 15.
Wiggins told the Steamboat Pilot & Today that Jackson was intoxicated and upset about a girlfriend breaking up with him.
