The Colorado Mammoth forced Minnesota into overtime, but the Swarm’s Ryan Benesch scored 33 seconds in, dropping the Mammoth to 1-8 on the season. Minnesota improved to 5-4.
Mammoth forward Alex Gajic led all scorers with four goals and two assists. Mammoth goalie Chris Levis made 31 saves. Colorado will have three weeks to rest before its March 26 home game against the Boston Blazers at 7 p.m.

Brian Wilkinson is the new director of football operations at Wyoming, Wyoming football coach Dave Christensen announced Friday. He replaces Rick Mallory, who accepted a position as offensive line coach at Alabama-Birmingham.
CU’s Knutson up for comeback award.
University of Colorado senior guard Levi Knutson (Arapahoe High)on Friday was named as one of 11 finalists for the V Foundation Comeback Award. The award is presented in conjunction with ESPN, and the recipient will be announced during ESPN’s tournament coverage in early April.
