A man in his 20s robbed the Academy Bank inside a Super Wal-Mart in Longmont last night, officials say.
The blonde man with a thin beard running along his jaw entered the bank at 6:06 p.m. at 2514 Main St. and demanded that the teller give him “all the money,” said Sgt. Eric Lewis, Longmont police spokesman.
The bank robber was wearing a white ball cap, a dark jacket with diagonal stripes, possibly gray in color, dark pants and sunglasses, Lewis said.
After he left the bank, the suspected jumped into a dark-colored car and drove away north on Hwy 287, he said.
The investigation is continuing, Lewis said.
