Denver’s respite from snow appears set to end, with the metro area expected to see about 2 to 6 inches of the white stuff in the coming days, according to the National Weather Service on Sunday.
Snow might begin falling Sunday night, the Weather Service predicts.
Snow is possible in the metro area Monday and very likely Monday night and Tuesday, with an 80 percent chance then. Tuesday looks to be especially cold, with a high of 29 degrees and a low of about 16, according to the Weather Service.
The snow isn’t expected to last, however. The Weather Service projects that Thursday will see a return of sunny weather with highs in the 50s: a warm stretch that will last through the weekend.
