The Urban Land Conservancy plans to develop a new library, housing and commercial space on a 2-acre parcel it purchased along the west light-rail corridor.
The conservancy paid $2.1 million for a portion of the 6.4-acre Festival Plaza using Denver’s transit-oriented development fund.
The city and county of Denver will buy about 0.8 acres of the parcel for the library. The conservancy will serve as the master developer for the entire site.
