Suds deal signed.

The ink is dry and the beer is flowing in the new 50-50 joint venture first announced in December between Wynkoop Holdings Inc., parent company of Wynkoop Brewing Co., and Breckenridge Holding Co., owner of Breckenridge Brewery.

In the joint agreement, signed Tuesday, both Denver-based breweries will sell each other’s beers in each other’s brewpubs and restaurants, including the new Ale House, set to open March 28 in the Amato’s statuary space at 2501 16th St. in Lower Highland.

The new collective also has purchased a prototype of an automatic canning machine from Wild Goose Engineering in Boulder. The first Wynkoop-Breckenridge brew produced will be a Belgian-style golden strong ale with a to-be-determined name. Photo provided by Marty Jones
