BOULDER, Colo.—About 200 homes are being evacuated in Boulder County because of a wildfire.
The fire has spread to about 20 acres in windy conditions on Friday.
The fire is in the Lefthand Canyon area, in the foothills outside of the city of Boulder.
Firefighters have also been battling a smaller wildfire fire near Lyons.
Strong winds combined with dry weather have increased the fire danger in and around the Front Range foothills.
The National Weather Service has issues a red flag warning up and down the entire Interstate 25 corridor.
