BOULDER, Colo.—Tanner Samson scored 17 points and led Aurora’s Regis Jesuit Raiders to a 63-59 victory over the Boulder Panthers in the Class 5A title game at the Coors Events Center on Saturday.

It was the third consecutive state basketball title for the top-seeded Regis (23-5).

Michael Clark scored 15 points and Josh Perkins and Drew Dyer added 12 apiece for Regis, which stopped Boulder’s 21-game winning streak.

No. 2 Boulder (25-3) trailed 32-21 at halftime but fought back to get within two points at 61-59 with 4.8 seconds to play.

Riley Grabau finished with a game-best 26 points for Boulder.

Loren Ban, who scored 16 points, and Andre Rieder with 11 were also in double figures for Boulder.
