Russian pianist Olga Kern, who was scheduled to perform Wednesday evening at Gates Concert Hall as part of the Friends of Chamber Music series, has postponed her appearance because of illness. A make-up concert has been set for 7:30 p.m. May 17.
Rather than find a substitute performer for Wednesday, as is often the practice in the classical world, Friends of Chamber Music chose to reschedule the concert because of Kern’s popularity in Denver.
