Police arrested a 32-year-old man early Wednesday morning on suspicion of headbutting a Colorado Springs officer.
Andrew Farris was out of control, breaking things and threatening family, according to his mother, who called police just after 3 a.m. When police arrived at at a home in the 2000 block of Broken Circle Road, Farris was in the garage and became aggressive toward the officers.
Police managed to put Farris in handcuffs and tried to put him in a police car. That’s when Farris headbutted one of the officers on the nose, the report said.
Farris was taken to the El Paso County jail on suspicion of second-degree assault on a police officer.
