Azura Living will start construction of its second rehabilitation center in Lafayette this summer.
Slated to open in spring 2012, Azura of Lafayette will feature 72 private suites and provide inpatient, short-term, transitional rehabilitation services in a resort style setting.
The 54,000 square foot facility will be located in the new SoLa Development just north of the Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Designed by The Studio at Morgan Creek, the new building will feature cultured stone, trellises and simulated heavy timber architectural accents. There will be three exterior healing gardens that extend the comfortable interior environments out into the landscape.
Azura of Lafayette will feature over 4,000 square feet of rehabilitation space – complete with state-of-the art equipment and staffed by Azura’s professionally trained therapists. The facility will employ over 100 Azura people.
