An Adams County jury found a man guilty of killing his wife and attempting to burn down his house after the July 3 slaying.
Charles Fisher, 29, was convicted of shooting his 30-year-old wife, Belinda, 18 times and then setting fire to his house at 11339 Locust St. in Thornton. Fisher was found guilty of second-degree murder and first-degree arson and is scheduled for sentencing May 19.
