DENVER—Congress is on spring break this week, and for many in Colorado’s congressional delegation, that means long meeting with constituents instead of vacation.
Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter held a meeting in Commerce City about implementing the federal health care overhaul. Another Democrat, Rep. Jared Polis, planned a town hall Tuesday in Firestone, and another Wednesday in Westminster.
Republican Rep. Mike Coffman had town hall-style meetings planned this week in Aurora and Littleton. And Republican Rep. Scortt Tipton was greeting constituents in Pueblo.
Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet plans to lead a group of high school students on a tour Tuesday of the Vestas plant in Pueblo where towers for wind turbines are made.
Sen. Mark Udall planned to be in Louisville to visit a company building a reusable spacecraft for the International Space Station.
