BOULDER — More Boulder leaders are speaking out about the need to make University Hill safer in the aftermath of a riot and shooting death last week, with Councilwoman Lisa Morzel calling for the city to regulate large private parties and require “minimum standards” of upkeep for rental properties.
Morzel on Tuesday said it’s time for the city to take action to control parties on the Hill, possibly by requiring hosts to pay for city permits and have on-site security and portable bathrooms.
