Pat Miller, a.k.a. KHOW radio host Gabby Gourmet, is working on her bucket list.

Now 76, she is just back from Sri Lanka, where she rode an elephant. She already rode a camel.

“I did not like that camel at all,” she says. “At least the elephant tried to be nice.”

In the past few years, Miller has aggressively gone after her bucket roster. She saw the pyramids, took a stroll on the Great Wall of China, revisited Israel, did the tango in Argentina.

So what’s left on the list?

“I want to go to Turkey and Morocco,” she says. “I want to see more of Canada. I want to go to Portland to see my granddaughter do her radio show. I want to go back to Kansas City, where I was born. I want to go parachuting.”

So how much time does she have for this? “At least another 20 years,” she says. “And I want to stay on the radio until I die. I figure I’m lucky to be able to do this. I take these trips with young friends, and they get tired and I don’t.”

Love machine.

Love her or hate her, you can’t deny that Elizabeth Gilbert is a writing rock star. Her book “Eat Pray Love” was a phenom best seller with 6 million sold. It’s the story of her travels as she eats, prays and loves her way around the world.

She’s at Macky Auditorium at 3 p.m. Sunday. Her last appearance in Colorado was like a revival meeting.

She followed “EPL” with “Committed,” which came out in paperback in January.

Denver Post travel editor Kyle Wagner will moderate the Gilbert session. Wagner says she liked the second book quite a lot, where Gilbert ends her “search for everything” and finds love and marriage. “And,” Wagner adds, “I’m not a big fan of marriage.”

Eye on Aspen.

In Tuesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” Marysol and Philippe were shown briefly leaving town — and the rest of the cast — to get married in Aspen. They exchanged vows at the top of Aspen Mountain after a scary trip up in the gondola. It was an intimate, romantic affair with just the two of them, a justice of the peace — and a film crew.
