Sunset skiing.
On April 1, 8 and 16, Aspen/ Snowmass will keep one of the four mountains open after regular hours for guests to experience sunset skiing. Select lifts will run until 6 p.m. or later. Gorgeous views and on-mountain dining options will complete the experience. or 970-925-1220
Break for Breck fest.
Spring fever will hit in Breckenridge April 1-24. The festival features free and low-cost events, in addition to discounted lodging packages, which run about $120 per person, per night, including lift tickets. Copper festivities.
Copper’s Sunsation celebrates its 11th year with two weekends of festivities. The first weekend, April 16-17, will include the return of the Red Bull 1976 Games, the CBS Sports Network’s 2011 Alt Games College Slopestyle and Rail Jam Championships and free live music. The second weekend, April 23-24, will include a world record attempt, the Easter Brunch and Easter egg hunt and more free music.
