Police found one person dead and another seriously injured after a report of a suspicious vehicle in Westminster early Thursday morning.
At 12:40 a.m. officers responded to the call in the 11000 block of Stewart Street, according to Cheri Spottke, spokeswoman for the Westminster Police Department.
The injured person in the vehicle was taken to a hospital. The nature of the injuries and the person’s condition have not been released.
Investigators believe that both people are from the neighborhood and are not looking for additional suspects, Spottke said.
Police are waiting for a warrant to search the vehicle. The Denver Post
