Police found one person dead and another injured when they responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle early this morning.
A resident called police around 12:40 a.m. after spotting the vehicle at the entrance of the Cotton Creek neighborhood at 110th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, according to Cherie Spottke, a spokesperson with the Westminster Police Department.
When officers arrived they found one person dead and another person injured. Spottke would not comment on their identities, the nature of their injuries or the condition of the person who survived. She says the victim was taken to a local hospital.
Spottke says detectives believe both people involved are from the neighborhood. Police are not looking for any suspects in connection to this incident.
