A look at the schedule for the Rockies’ opening day. Fans with game tickets are advised to plan on heavy traffic and congestion near Coors Field.
11 a.m. — Opie Gone Bad takes stage at 21st Street and Blake. Following Opie Gone Bad will be Los Lonely Boys.
1:25 p.m. — On-field ceremonies begin, starting with the Air Force Academy Stellar Brass, accompanied by the honor guard military march. There will be a balloon release, fireworks and a flyover by the units from the Buckley Air National Guard. After the national anthem, the Rockies will recognize Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki for their Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards won in 2010.
2:10 p.m. — First pitch from Ubaldo Jimenez to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
