Boulder County sheriff’s officials have confirmed that one person was killed in a glider crash west of Baseline Reservoir in Boulder.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a glider crash south of 6800 Baseline Road — about halfway to South Boulder Road — about 5:15 p.m.

Sheriff’s spokesman Rick Brough confirmed that someone was killed, but declined to say whether the victim was male or female. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office and a team of victims’ advocates were sent to the scene.
