No one was hurt when a small experimental airplane caught fire at the Colorado Springs Airport on Saturday morning, officials say.
Firefighters from Peterson Air Force Base Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire that began about 7 a.m. When the owner of the plane turned power on in the plane, it caught on fire, airport operations manager Troy Stover said.
