A 27-year-old Longmont man accused of dealing methamphetamine and cocaine while he was on parole last year took a deal with prosecutors Friday and was sentenced to six years in prison.
Pierre Madrigal will not be allowed to ask for a sentence reconsideration under the deal, in which he pleaded guilty to felony drug possession with intent to manufacture or distribute.
Prosecutor Ken Kupfner told Boulder District Judge D.D. Mallard that police recovered 5 ounces of methamphetamine and 6 ounces of cocaine from Madrigal’s parents’ home at 2215 Boise Ave., where Madrigal lived in a downstairs room.
When he was arrested, Madrigal was on parole from a drug-possession conviction in 2006 that resulted in a four-year prison term, followed by five years of mandatory parole, court records show.
Police considered Madrigal a top-level dealer in a local drug organization. Longmont Times-Call
