CANON CITY, Colo.—The body of a missing 15-year-old has been found in Canon City.
The Denver Post reported Tuesday the boy, whose name has not been released, normally lives with his mother in Buena Vista. He had been visiting his father during spring break.
Police say he was reported missing Saturday. His body was found by search crews Monday on top of a ridge in the Hogbacks, a hilly region about 115 miles south of Denver where he liked to hike.
An initial exam by the coroner found nothing that indicated trauma. Canon City police say they don’t suspect foul play.
Authorities are looking at phone records to try to establish a timeline of when the teen arrived in Canon City and when he died.
