Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of the suspects they believe was involved in a home invasion in Loveland last week.

On March 29, at 4:30 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of Monroe Avenue for a report of a home invasion and car theft, according to a news release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

A 48-year-old man told police that two men had entered his home, hit him with a club, threatened him and tied him to a bed.

The suspects took several things from the home and stole the victim’s car, a 2006 Nissan 350Z.

The car was later found by Fort Collins Police near the Larimer County Landfill after they responded to an accident involving the Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to an area hospital with multiple injuries, and police are investigating what role, if any, he played.

Police are continuing to investigate the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Jonathan Cox at 970-498-5163, the Larimer County Emergency Communication center at 970-416-1985 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
