Classes were canceled and students were sent home today after a Thornton middle school received a bomb threat.
At 11:15 a.m., police responded to Shadow Ridge Middle School at 12551 Holly Street, Matt Barnes, spokesman for the Thornton Police Department, said.
No explosives were found during a thorough search of the school, Barnes said.
The school said they received a phone call from what sounded like a woman caller, claiming there was a bomb somewhere inside the school.
